Logging Channels Choose which channel(s) are to be logged. Selectable values: CH1, CH2 and CH1 + CH2
Logging Source Specifies the source of the trigger-signal. Selectable values:
  • time: Choose to activate time-triggered logging with an internal defined logging interval
  • ext. trigger: Choose to activate external triggering of the data logger.
  • time + ext.trig.: Choose to activate time-triggered logging with event recording.

  • Whenever an external trigger impulse is applied, the status column of the data list is marked with a "T".
Logging Interval [hour:min] Specifies the time interval (hours:minutes) between each recording of a parameter set in the selected measurement mode. Selectable values are from 00:00 ... 24:00 hours. This field combined with the field below [sec] forms the absolute timing.
Logging Interval [sec] Specifies the time interval (sec) between each recording of a parameter set in the selected measurement mode. Selectable values are from 0.00 ... 59.90 seconds. This field combined with the field above [hours:minutes] forms the absolute timing.
Ext. Trigger Count Defines the number of trigger pulses to aggregate before taking a measurement. For calibrating an external wheel sensor or similar to achieve a defined trigger distance.
    Range is 1 ... 1000.
Ext. Trigger Impulse Enables external triggering of measurements in logging mode by applying a trigger signal to the rear baseband/trigger input.
Selectable values are Pos. edge, Neg. edge.
Auto Power Down Activates or deactivates the automatic switch-off to support long-term data logging without the need for an external power supply. If the logging interval (see above) exceeds 5 minutes the device will automatically shut down after taking a measurement. Two minutes before the next measurement it will switch on again. Selectable choices are ON | OFF.
